Nubitel's Data Protection Notice for Customers

At Nubitel, we place security, compliance, and data privacy at the core of our customer relationships. In accordance with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), Nubitel is committed to the responsible collection, use, disclosure, and processing of personal data to ensure the security and privacy of our customers’ information.

What's the Personal Data?

“Personal data” refers to any information that can identify an individual, such as names, email addresses, and telephone numbers. We collect this data directly from customers or through authorized representatives, solely to enhance customer experiences and ensure secure service delivery.

Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personal Data

Nubitel is committed to protecting our customers’ personal data and ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We do not collect personal data unless:

  • (a) Voluntary Provision: Customers provide their personal data directly to Nubitel or through an authorized representative, after being notified of the purposes for which the data is collected and providing written consent.
  • (b) Legal Permits: The collection and use of personal data without consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other applicable laws. Nubitel will always seek consent before collecting any additional personal data or using it for purposes that have not been previously communicated.

Data Security Measures: To protect our customers’ personal data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal, Nubitel has implemented appropriate administrative, physical, and technical measures. These measures include:

Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting customer information diligently.

Accuracy of Personal Data

Nubitel relies on the accuracy of the personal data provided by our customers or their authorized representatives.

To ensure that the personal data we hold is current, complete, and accurate, we encourage customers to inform us of any changes by contacting our Data Protection Officer.

Retention of Personal Data

Nubitel may retain personal data as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws.

We will cease retention or remove identifiers from personal data once it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves its original purpose.

Transfers of Personal Data Outside of Singapore

Nubitel does not transfer personal data outside of Singapore. However, if such transfers are necessary, we will obtain consent from our customers and take steps to ensure that their personal data continues to receive a standard of protection comparable to that provided under the PDPA.
